Video by @Joelsartore | With an estimated 35 Scottish wildcats left in the wild, these are arguably the rarest kittens in the world. This brother and sister pair of Scottish wildcats were orphaned and close to death just before they were rescued from a forestry ditch in Scotland. They were saved and are currently being rehabilitated by @scottishwildcathaven an organization dedicated to saving this species from extinction. Shown here at 13-weeks-old, this pair has been nursed back to health and are now growing up fast in a large, naturalistic enclosure. In the spring they’ll be released back into the wild where they will make an invaluable contribution to saving their species.
